Manage sources word 2011 mac

Please do not send me the guide to adding and citing sources and I have read this multiple times already and follow all the steps on current papers, past papers and new papers that i have created to see if it was a document type problem.

My only issue is that when I click on Bibliography there is nothing in the window. I have full functionality in my in-text citations I am not sure what is going on. It should be at least It wouldn't hurt to also run Disk Utility to repair disk permissions, then Restart your Mac. If the missing elements don't appear after that, reply with any additional information you can supply about the document.

It is strange as it works with a document created on another computer with a bibliography already built in but not when I try to create it myself.
